    Thanks for your interview. I shared it with others but in this environment anything that doesn’t immediately agree with what they’ve been conditioned to view as truth triggers “anger”. Hopefully there are some people that can see past what they have been told on the MSM. Also I am surprised I haven’t seen much of your work lately. OAN or even Fox News should have you on explaining things.

    This was predictable. It should have been foreseen. based on what took place in Portland and Seattle it was predictable that ANTIFA and BLM would cause trouble. Some Trump supporters may have been caught up in the moment. I did a lot of .riot control training as an MP on active duty and as an MP company commander in the AZ Nat'l Guard. What Michael described is called contagion.. Contagion is the ease with the emotion can spread from person to person in a crowd, large or small.

    I had a platoon of MPs on the steps of the Pentagon during the 1967 march on Washington. We were prepared and were able to control the demonstrators.More that 200 were detain and taken to a holding facility at Wharton city jail.. They were cited, processed and taken to a release area outside of DC. (The prisoners had been moved several days prior to the march). There was plenty of history; and there were after action reports they could draw.; but there was no planning for a worse case scenario. .Contagion is inevitable in a crowd with APs and provocateurs. It only takes a match to start a bonfire.

    Pence's decision to take the safe route and proceed with the agenda, ensured that whatever took place in the way of a violent reaction, some Trump supporters would get caught up in the emotion and be subject to the manipulation of the crowd by APs. There was substantial agreement among many Constitutional scholars that the VP had the latitude to not recognize the electors of the states in question. Apparently no one thought about what would surely take place. Now conservatives and Rs will be easy targets for the left and the media to blame for future violence. It suites the left's playbook.. The administration is largely responsible for not having considered the political and social ramifications of the decision to conduct business as usual. After all, isn't that is what the entire Trump agenda was about over the past four years? There was a complete mental lapse regarding what they were dealing with and what was at stake.

    Incidentally the crowd at the rally appeared to match, if no dwarf, the 1967 march.

    The flyers being posted for this are not attributed to any patriot group, have no contact information, and seem a PRIME example of ANTIFA tactics.

    Mr. Yon, do you read these comments? I heard your interview yesterday on OANN. I was on the West Steps of the Capitol on Jan 6. I was up front early, I wound up there kind of by accident because I did not know what was about to unfold; initially, I thought that a Senator or Representative was going to come out and speak to us. I got video of the guys who broke into the windows on the West Steps.
    Before they broke the window, one of them, a guy wearing goggles-type eye-wear. was at the Capitol window on an elevated scaffold or work-stand that was already there, speaking through a bullhorn that he had with him, saying, "bring up the weapons, bring up the weapons...".
    When I heard what you said last night, and you quoted, "bring up the masks, bring up the masks", right then I knew I had another piece of the puzzle that is this premeditated attack under cover of a Stop the Steal Rally that day. That is why I am reaching out to you now.
    We, the normal people who were there that day, were saying "what weapons? this isn't normal. Who is this guy? They aren't dressed like us...".They were wearing blacks, olive-drabs, greys, goggles, gas masks! Who brings gas masks to a Trump event or a stop the steal rally? Who would even think of such a thing?
    We responded by trying to stop them at various times during their attempts but could not, there were about 15 to 20 of them and they just kept persisting, and we were a disorganized group of hopeless optimists whose greatest weapon is chanting, ten dollar donations, and, until now, voting". Earlier, a couple guys had tried to break the window with smaller, ordinary looking jack-handle type tools. The crowd had chanted "no antifa" and "stop, antifa" and even "f* antifa", and a couple of Trump supporting guys had pulled them away from the window and struggled with them to try and stop them, because, clearly we thought they were antifa; and woment next the them were talking to them and trying to stop them, but the people trying to stop them were just a couple older guys and several older-ish women who were close enough to do anything to physically stop them, against what appeared to be a group of about 15 to 20 guys
    They were dressed differently, the guy that actually finally broke through the window had brought up a giant metal pipe with a shackle-type distal end, apparently in response to the bullhorn guy's call to bring up the weapons. It took him a while to get there, too. He was wearing a grey t-shirt that said "HARVARD" under a thick grey hoodie and thick gray sweatpants, and the close-by crowd started chanting, "stop harvard, stop harvard!" because what Trump supported would wear a gray Harvard t-shirt to a Trump rally? Plus he looked like his buddies had just woken him out of his weed-nap and rolled him off the couch. They looked, acted and dressed nothing like Trump supporters.
    I am reaching out to you because I have video of the guys who broke the window, I would like to know if they were klantifa or, as i heard days later, blm'ers.
    I took a bunch of videos and photos from right up front. I got tear gassed and pepper sprayed but could not retreat through the crowd because it seemed like there was thousands of people behind us pressing forward. Then, it was hard to not get swept up with crowds pressing forward and climbing higher. On those West Steps we did not know that people had gotten in through the other side, I was getting text message updates from a couple friends who was watching it on the news, heard people were inside, thought it was the 15 to 20 guys whe entered from the West Steps, after they went in, no Trump Supporters really went in, we still just stood around, but events were unclear. We were still hoping for news that there would be an investigation and delayed electoral vote. Boy, do I feel like an idiot.
    I think it is important for people to know that Trump supporters did not instigate the breaking and entry into the Capitol. Trump supporters do not break stuff or try to hurt law enforcement. Trump supporters thought we were patriotically going up the Capitol Steps to chant "Stop the Steal", "government. We hoped that some courageous Congressperson would come out and speak to us, reassure us that the biggest election fraud witnessed in recorded history would be investigated and remedied. No body expected or wanted the tragedy that unfolded.

    I am kind of really afraid to let anyone know I was there, though. After all the above, my question is, should I even bother, or can I show you the video I recorded of the guys who broke the window without getting in trouble for even being there? And remain anonymous because anyone who the lefties identify they hunt down, persecute and destroy like swarms of rabid vampire locusts and I feel rightfully frightened of them.
    I look forward to and thank you for any advice or suggestions you may offer.

      Also, we did not realize antifa / blm'ers had already broken into other windows at other locations of the Capitol earlier or at the same time. There was much confusion in the crowd about what was happening because there seemed to be a service blackout -- no mobile internet access, only text and calls.
      The window we saw and filmed klantifa breaking into appeared to be a smallish, isolated window about halfway up the West Steps near what appeared to be a service entrance or work door. This was not the big, dramatic break-ins that I later saw featured in the news.
      Frankly, when I wrote that previous comment or plea to Mr. Yon, about the videos, descriptions of the antifa gentlemen who broke the smaller Capitol window halfway up the West Steps, I was more worried about blm'ers and klantifa because they target and cancel people or attack peoples' homes in the middle of the night and terrify them and their neighbors such as with Senator Hawley or Mr. Carlson. I'm not anybody, but everybody seems to be afraid of being targeted for destruction by those guys.
      Although I do have a healthy respect for and right now fear of our government as well.
      Oh and the young guy in the sweats who actually broke the window.had a blond ponytail. I never posted my videos or photos anywhere; but perhaps after Jan 20, Mr. Yon will get back to me and I can upload to him. I guess we will all just have to wait to see how everything unfolds over the upcoming events and times.
      Thank you Louis, I, too, was hoping it was really no biggie, just got a bit concerned in the aftermath.

      Unfortunately you posted and therefore no longer anonymous. Nothing on line is anonymous. But based on what I saw in videos, you have nothing to worry about. Sharing videos with Mr. Yon is a good idea, forget the regular press, they'll quash it and turn you in to FBI.

    The Capitol Police were not prepared because no body ever thinks that Trump Supporters are going to be violent or criminal, after all, we are mocked for being a bunch of fat, old Christians clinging to our Bibles, tending to our yards, and praying for 45 instead of smashing windows, burning, or looting to get our way, indeed.
    And what appears to be massive election fraud and cheating. That should also remain in focus, remember that the evidence and appearance of massive election fraud is the reason so many people were there and the entire country was watching, to see what would happen with the states with disputed results..

      looks like you been sold a big pack of lies. all the capitol rioters arrested said they were Trump supporters, including those who looted offices and broke windows. they came directly from the trump rally. they had a long and well-documented history of supporting trump.
      meanwhile the proof they were 'led' by antifa is nonexistent. i am depressed at how many people like yourself fell for such an obvious lie instead of condemning the violence and policing your own side. trump supporters did this; hold them to account. get rid of the crazies. get rid of the babbits.

    Great interview, based on limited videos I watched on-line I suspected as much! I can't wait until you can publish a full video report. If there is any objective reporting on the events of 20210106 it would be done by Michael Yon. Maybe Rep Kevin McCarthy should've see this interview and looked at your evidence before he claimed on the house floor there was no Antifa!!!! The timeline just didn't add as reported by NY Times and The National Pulse. The perimeter was already breached while DJT was still giving his speech.

THE CROWD WENT DIRECTLY FROM TRUMP'S RALLY THERE. all the people arrested have a very clear paper trail of being fanatical trump worshippers. they were RECORDED murdering that police officer and breaking into the capitol. you claim in this video 'nothing was stolen' when a LAPTOP FROM PELOSI'S OFFICE WAS STOLEN and another guy literally PHOTOGRAPHED HIMSELF WITH HER MAIL AFTER TAKING IT FROM HER OFFICE.

    trump supporters did this. the ones photographed in the capitol have literally posted evidence of who they are on their own social media, and they aren't antifa or anything except who they say they are: fanatical trump supporters. you're in denial about it, and so are a lot of other people in the comment section. i dunno what happened to make you this way (but i hope everyone who earnestly believes this cowardly bullsh!t gets help or therapy or something).
