I ordered two copies of your book--one to read, the other for my collection. My husband is a Marine who has been to Iraq three times and will be going again early 2009. I have gotten very frustrated (as many families have) with the separations, loneliness, and anxiety. Your book has helped reinstill a belief that what the American military is doing over in Iraq is making a difference. It will be slow going, but with leaders like Petraeus at the helm I believe it can be done. Thank you SO much for chaning your mind and doing this. And I LOVE the opening chapter--that is one of my favorite songs from Mass. It was sung at two memorial services for Marines out in 29 Palms and has a very special meaning to me.
