Thanks for posting your tribute to Sgt Brad Conner who died in Iraq. Right after seeing it I attended a meeting with his parents Bill and Kay a year after his death. They had just returned from Ft. Bragg and Arlington. We had a tearful talk and they were deeply honored for your remembering their beloved son.

Sure appreciate your fine reporting and writing! Moment of Truth in Iraq was excellent; I'll spread it around and give it away to others.

I notice posts on your website no longer have date stamps on them. It sure makes it hard to keep a timeline on what happened when...

It would also be nice if there was a "Contact" page at the top of your Home page. I was unable to easily locate a way to contact you.

Michael,
I've frequented your blog over the past couple months and come to
appreciate your take on the war. The window you've given to the world is such an awesome gift. Thanks you for your service. Stay vigilante.

I'm a former Marine myself, I was enlisted from '01-'05 and was in
the triangle from Sept '04-March '05. I was trained as a combat
correspondent and attached to 3/1 India for the push through Fallujah
I'm going to school now, trying to pursue a life in the documentary
world. While attempting to churn up a summer internship I stumbled
into the producers of some veteran oriented programming. To spare you
the details, I'm now the host of the webcast series, IN THEIR BOOTS
Not my original intent, but I'm excited about the stories we are
producing and the experience to come. I think our content may be of
interest to your audience.

If you have a more open line to communicate through I can forward you
some links to our site and blog.

We go live on the web July 2nd.

I'll be happy to answer any questions.

Thanks for your time.

Dear Micheal, I know that this will probably never happen but I figured it was worth a shot! My S-I-L is in Iraq. His name is Micheal DiFiore, He is a spec 4. He is part of the Army's reserve 401st civil affairs unit out of Rochester, NY. We just heard from him today, he was flown out of Falusah to Baghdad and was told he is one of only 3 soldiers in Iraq that will be given Battlefield promotions Sunday. He will be promoted to Sgt! We have no way of getting any pictures, and this is history. This is the first time that this has ever happened in the 401st history! He is an excellant young man, has a family consisting of a wife, 15yr old daughter, 14yr old son, and 19month old son. His son was born in July and he left for the Army in Oct. so they haven't spent much time together. I don't know where you will be, but was our only chance at getting to see this. Thank you for all you do for all of us. Thank you for protecting Truth, just like our soldiers do. God Bless you. Tami Cocuzzi This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
