The trouble is, Michael, that a lot of House Members and Senators HAVE gone to Iraq. But when they go, they often don't process the information they get properly. They go there with preconceived notions, and their brains lock in on every nugget that reinforces their preconceptions, and they automatically tune out all contradictory information. So they come back only reinforced in the ideas they came in with. If you do get a chance to go with Members, I would recommend you focus extra attention to point out things that contradict what they already believe, everytime an opportunity arises. That way, they may actually learn something.
Reader support is crucial to this mission. Weekly or monthly recurring ‘subscription’ based support is the best, though all are greatly appreciated. Recurring and one-time gifts are available through PayPal or Authorize.net.
