Strength and Compassion Many people say this is the most important photograph of the Iraq war. The image most completely embodies my experience throughout Iraq.
Countless people have asked for reprints, but I wanted to give the matter some thought. I did not want to diminish the symbolism of this photograph, and the American soldiers who risked their lives to save this little girl.
When these soldiers finally returned to the United States, they asked my permission to present a copy to Bruce Willis at “The Punisher's Ball.” When I saw the photo so tastefully framed, I realized this could make a beautiful gift.
Additional Details: - A 8 x 12 color photograph is tastefully exhibited mounted under two acid-free mats, in tones selected to draw the viewer's eyes directly to the center of the image, where the true power of the photograph resides. The neutral cool gray brushed steel frame secures the image under glass. Designed and custom crafted by professionals with 60 years' experience in museums, galleries and private collections from Boston to Newport, this arrangement will work in any decor because all the framing is designed to enhance the image, not distract from it, so viewers are drawn into the photograph, not held back by its framing.
