This photo pushes my laughter button every time it pops up.  You never know what our soldiers are going to do next.  Despite the combat, there is a great deal of humor to be had out there in the war.  The photo even cracked up Secretary Gates.

Please give the gift of independent reporting. I'd hate for this to get around, but I agree with the Secretary. Dunno if this will get an Iwo-Jima-type Pulitizer, but maybe it should.

Regulation Pink Boxers

When I saw that photo, thoughts of Kurt Vonnegut, Joseph Heller, ran through my mind. Then I ordered a pair for a soldier who is deploying soon.
