U.S. and Philippine troops are closely cooperating in the fight against terrorists.  After duty, these men practice knife fighting and “Arnis.”  Arnis is a form of stick fighting popular in the Philippines.

Fillipino stick fighitng is also called "Escrima" and Danny Innosanto has published several books on the subject.

Wow, awesome photos! That is me in the glasses with the wooden knife and my buddy Santiago nearest to the camera. These guys are the best. THank you JB, Ryan, Jeffrey and Mannie for the awesome training. It made my deployment much more exciting and memorable!
