Be interesting to see how the MIC responds to this after they have made billions off this fiasco over last ten years.

Maybe they finally feel they have made enough money from the blood, sweat, and tears of our military members and their families!

I'm saying this as a 30 year veteran of the Military Industrial Complex, enough is enough!

And we still wait... I will take a new Washington administration to move policy. The current administration is filled with to little experience. God Bless and help America.

0 # Spread The Word.....TB 2012-05-04 10:23
After reading the entire PDF package, I concur with your "little bird"! We need to spread the word!

The present and past policies in dealing with the "Middle East", sucks barge canal water! :-?

Time for a dead reckoning course with an attainable landing and takeoff point 8)

This is what happens when bureaucracies with entrenched interests take over and start micro-managing a process and in the process repeating the same core mistakes made by others that had their butts kicked, miserably  (for profit mind you-someone has to sell the government all the stuff it needs, right!)

If we could get a reaction akin to the Jerry Meekins vs Spirit Airlines debacle from he America public over our "Middel East Policies" then the White House, which is really orchestrting this anyway, would finally have to listen to all those calling for this re-evalution and total CHANGE of policy, I HOPE :-*

Tell your "little bird" where spreading the word!

Those of you with a blog, website and/or FaceBook page need to DL the PDF package and post it, pronto 8)

Peace be unto you and yours :-)

Sen. Wolf is a baby kisser and hand shaker. Never seen him do anything for his district, the district I live in. I wouldn't expect much from him.

Makes me wonder whether Panetta has any other purpose at the Pentagon than to preside over budget cuts.

Forming a Study Group is a no-brainer. If nothing else, it creates an independent platform for criticizing Pakistan, and it can justify a new policy where we cut them off. We need to find new ways to supply our forces in Afghanistan. We need to amputate our reliance on Pakistan. They are NOT OUR FRIENDS.

0 # No study group needed...Bob T Guy 2012-05-05 05:52
A study group is political crapola. It would be a waste of time and taxpayer money. Panetta is pure politics. His recent lecturing of our troops is icing on the cake. He and Obama are making self - serving deals with patently evil enemies of the USA and throwing the lives of our own troops into the line of fire. They are training and equipping terrorists under the guise of helping the unfortunate... A more hideous and obvious act of treason, I cannot imagine. Afghanistan is where other nations go to die. It will always be so. Get out. Nationalize our response protocol and let the Islamic nations know... If they kill one of ours, we destroy a city. The will never respect us. They need to fear us.
